Sportswear brand Nike is hoping to release the self-lacing shoes from sci-fi movie Back to the Future II by the end of this year. The money raised will go to Fox’s foundation for Parkinson’s. You likely know the famous scene from Back to the Future Part II where Marty McFly puts on a pair of sick self-lacing Nikes.

While Nike actually does sell self-lacing shoes as part of the Nike Adapt line, which is specially designed for. All entrants to the raffles will find out on Nike plans to use the technology from the Mag shoes in other models in the future, though they won’t look like thoes from Back To The Future. I doubt I’ll be able to get at the auction. but I’m super excited to try.
