Favorite training shoe
These are my third pair. After I got the first ones and decided this was it, I started hunting for them and get them when they are on sale/closeout. I stockpile so I can be in these for a while. Overall excellent for indoor training; mostly for crossfit like weight lifting workouts; some HIIT classes and machine drills. I will wear them for some shorter length treadmill workouts; The sock fit hugs your feet very well and you can tighten up with the laces, The Nike fit sole is so nice – forgiving but not too soft. I get full flexibility out of these. They also are quite styling. For outdoor training I use shoes with a more rugged sole.

I love this shoe! I previously bought a puma mesh trainer but they were not what I expected. I then ordered the Nike Free and wow…it is just awesome for my life. I walk a lot and run some, and it is like there is nothing on my feet. They are so light! I am not a big fan of the mesh, but it does not bother me on these.
Like walking without shoes but better
I love these shoes. They make working out better just because of how wonderful they feel. Not at all bulky or heavy; they’re so light it’s like tying up comfy clouds for your feet. I cannot recommend these enough. Buy them. Your feet will literally sing.
Great shoe! (Size chart was way off for me)
Love the comfort and look of these shoes. (These replaced a pair of Nike Free 5.0 that held up surprisingly well for many years. Obviously the heel and other aspects have changed a lot, and so far I like the new feel for training and walking the dog.)
SIZE NOTE though:
I usually wear a 7.5 or 8, and after reading other reviews here thankfully I bought the 8. Good fit! I couldn’t have worn any smaller, or the shoes would’ve been too short.
My foot is 9 1/2 inches (24 cm) from heel to toe standing up with someone else measuring. The size chart link that’s currently here recommends a size 6.5 for that, which I never wear, so I’d suggest skipping that chart, unless they update it, and going with the high end of your usual size.
Great shoes
I’m a size 8 and I bought a size 8 in this shoe. It fit perfectly! So far my favorite pair of Nike sneakers that I have bought. I do a lot of cross-training and these have proven up to the task while being both comfortable and stylish.
