Converse presents the Men’s All Star Ox plimsolls that need no introduction. The All Star Ox flaunts classic details with the classic canvas upper, metal eyelet lace up front, twin vent holes on the side of the shoe, a single stripe around the sole of the shoe and a rubber toe cap section which sits on a vulcanised rubber sole. The All Star is finished off with contrasting stitching and branding on the heel and tongue of the shoe.
Love my chucks
Love my chucks! Wouldn’t recommend them for people with any kind of foot issues as they don’t really have much support. But they are my long term wear anywhere shoe. I just recently had to retire a pair and bought these to replace. My only concern with the new pair is longevity. My old pair lasted FOREVER maybe 10 years, of course by the time I finally got rid of them the bottom had no tread and the rubber was so cracked it was starting to peel off and they were no longer black but some sort of light gray color. Still they were perfectly conformed to my foot and the most comfortable shoes I owned. Hopefully the new ones will hold up as well. I was slightly disappointed in how much they cost. I could have bought them in a store for half the cost, but they never have my size in stock, and it seems like this is the average price online.
Cannot go wrong with these classics
These low-top Chuck Taylors are unisex tennis shoe that fit great and come in a variety of colors. I went with the Old School (my description) classic unbleached white. These shoes are great for casual wear and a comfy feel. Next to no arch support though, so if you have foot pain, insert your own supports.
Ignore reviews claiming these are fake!
I was a little hesitant to buy Converse from an Amazon retailer because of negative reviews saying they are fakes. Don’t let the negative reviews sway your purchase decision. I compared these to my other pairs that I bought in store and aside from color of the canvas they are the same. (I bought pink ones on Amazon and my previous pairs are black and light aqua.) They have the same detailing and fit just like my other pairs. However, you will need to pay attention to the sizing because these are in men’s sizes. I wear an 11 in Women’s shoes and bought them in men’s size 9 and the fit is perfect for me. I will repurchase from the seller I bought these converse from because it saved me a little money and they are legit.

I have never owned a pair of converse even though they have been quite popular. I’m impressed. They were comfortable and accented my outfit just like I thought they would. Love them.
I really like them
These are so cute. I bought them for the fall to swap out for booties. I can wear with jeans, leggings or dresses. They run true to size. I am a 7 and i can wear with thicker socks comfortably. I have narrow feet. They may be too narrow for wide feet, word of caution. I will be rocking these for years to come.
Size chart confusion & solution
Great shoes but I ordered wrong size. Size chart is difficult to discern. Main sizes are male (female sizes 2nd) So…..I had ordered wrong size…..I got sz 8.5 but they were actually 10.5 for men! Have to return.
Shudda read comments b4 ordering. People warned of size chart confusion. PLUS I read one that said converse shoes run larger, a 1/2 size off. [Larger]. I wear size 9 in ALL shoes I buy [but Converse!]. I tried on sz 8 in shoe store…too small, size 9 too big! I need to try 8.5 I guess & NOT go with going 1/2 size smaller.
I would suggest you go to a shoe store that sells Converse shoes [Famous Footware, etc] & try ON the converse shoes to see what your size is & whether you “need” the half size smaller.

I love my Converse black shoes. They are perfect. Thank you very much. I will definitely order the pink next time. I actually bought them but I got the wrong size I believe they were a 8. , So I will definitely order them in the right size.

All star!
Love them! My husband had bought me the all black ones a few years back & they lasted me a long time until this year when the sole came off 😭 Planned on getting the all black ones again but instead went ahead and bought the classics. Was so excited when I received them ! I wear a 7.5 & that’s what I got and they fit perfect & so is the stitching and color ! Planning on getting more colors 🙂
Let me say I’m a die hard fan….
I love converse however I have a hit and miss with my size when I purchase online. I had to return them as they were way too big. I wear a woman’s size 8 and ordered the equivalent size in mens. It was a fail. But I still love them all and will continue to buy them!
